SCHOLAR BADGE CRITERIA

 

 

 

Ranks and Honours

  • Delhi Private School Sharjah does not rank its students. However, a grading process on the basis of marks scored is often done to facilitate college admission procedures.

    The school has a scholar badge ladder which awards students for consistent academic endeavour for seven consecutive years from grade 5 to grade 11 culminating with the winning of gold medal by the student. Students are encouraged to work for their scholar badge as it is a very prestigious award bestowed by the school for good consistent academic work.  (Please check Scholar Badge Policy)
 
Scholar Badge – Grades VI, VII, VIII

Scholar Badge
  • Students securing 75 % and above aggregate in both the terms (Term 1 and Term 2) and an overall aggregate of 80% (Term 1 + Term 2) (Aggregate of core subjects only)
  • 70% in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Moral Education/SST & Computer Science
  • Stanine 6 (minimum) in English, Math and Science in the ASSET
  • Clear pass in all subjects
  • ‘Avid’ in the Reading program
  • 95% Attendance

SB Certificate and badge

High Achiever
  • Students securing 75 % and above aggregate in both the terms (Term 1 and Term 2) and an overall aggregate of 90% (Term 1 + Term 2) (Aggregate of core subjects only)
  • 70% in Computers, Arabic, Moral Education/SST and Islamic Studies
  • Stanine 6 (minimum) in English, Math and Science in the ASSET
  • Clear pass in all subjects
  • ‘Avid’ in the Reading program
  • 95% Attendance

SB Certificate + HA certificate
OR
HA certificate only (If not satisfying term-wise conditions or not satisfying 5,6 conditions)

Outstanding Achiever

  • Students securing 75 % and above aggregate in both the terms (Term 1 and Term 2) and an overall aggregate of 95% (Term 1 + Term 2) (Aggregate of core subjects only)
  • 70% in Computers, Arabic, Moral Education/SST and Islamic Studies
  • Stanine 6 (minimum) in English, Math and Science in the ASSET
  • Clear pass in all subjects
  • ‘Avid’ in the Reading program
  • 95% Attendance

SB Certificate + OA certificate
OR
OA certificate only
(If not satisfying term-wise conditions or not satisfying 5,6 conditions)

Special ASSET Achiever

Stanine 9 in all three batteries

Irrespective of SB awarded or not

 

CONDITIONS: 
SB can NOT be given to students who joined the school AFTER FIRST TERM, missed UT1, HY, UT2 and take only FE. 

Student should have taken at least one big exam (HY or FE)

Scholar Badge Tier – 2: Orange Badge – Grade 6

Scholar Badge Tier – 3: Blue Badge - Grade 7

Scholar Badge Tier – 4:
